Welcome to the Center for Spinal Surgery and Spinal Disorders
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my experience in healthcare. I have been practicing spine surgery for the last 23 years. I earned my medical degree from The University of Pennsylvania in 1986. For the next five years, I continued with advanced training in the residency program at Harvard University. After my residency, I completed a one and one-half year training program as chief resident, and as a fellow in spinal surgery at Harvard University.
As a specialist in spinal surgery, my practice is focused on spine disorders. I commonly treat conditions that compress nerves in the lumbar and cervical spine. Abnormalities that compress the spinal cord and cause spine instability are also routinely treated in my practice. Minimally invasive surgical techniques are used when appropriate.
As my practice has grown over the years, I have limited my long term care of patients to those who have current or potential surgical needs. For those who do not require spinal surgery, I will give advice on optimal non-operative care options and will follow them on a selective basis.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to further improve your experience. My goal is to provide you the best medical care.
I am looking forward to meeting with you.
Sincerely,
